2019 was a very successful year for EEO Group and its affiliated organizations (AKMI S.A, Metropolitan College, Universal Training, Familior), since we achieved a commendable success rate in EU project submissions.
On Friday, 1st of November 2019, the 1st Face-to-Face Training for the Specialization Course of European Erasmus + Project: "Mu.SA: Museum Sector Alliance" took place in the premises of AKMI S.A..
Partners of the “National Action Plan on the integration of immigrants” were gathered in Nicosia, on 25th -27th of September 2019, to discuss the project progress. The project started in January 2019 and has a runtime of 46 months. It is co-funded by the AMIF (Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund) of the European Commission.
AKMI S.A, as the biggest private educational organization in the field of tourism, welcomed in its premises a group of students from Saint- Brieuc, France, to present to them all the infrastructures related to hotel management, culinary arts, restaurant services etc. During their visit, one of our distinguished chefs and faculty member shared some secrets of the French cuisine, an expert sommelier presented his little secrets on wine presentation & serving tactics and the Head of Tourism Department gave them some valuable advice on the profession.
EEO GROUP S.A. hosted in its premises the 3rd and Final Transnational Project Meeting of the Erasmus+ project “MedLit45+: Building advanced media literacy competences and digital skills of low-skilled adults 45+ through social media” on the 16th and 17th of October 2019.
AKMI S.A has proudly participated in an Erasmus+ Sector Skills Alliances projects Monitoring Meeting, held by the European Commission’s Education, Audiovisual & Culture Executive Agency, in Brussels, on 9 October 2019.
AKMI S.A participated in the kick-off meeting of the new project: “ICT4TCN: Facilitating the access to the ICT labour market of third country nationals by developing further their existing skillset”. The meeting was held in Athens on 10 and 11 of October 2019, on the premises of EEO Group.
ENTREPRENEURIAL SKILLS FOR EU START-UPS: EEO GROUP in Tetovo, North Macedonia, for the 3rd Transnational Project Meeting of TESEUS, a Project Co-funded by Erasmus+, on 20th of September 2019
8 Partners from 7 European countries (Belgium, Greece, Italy, North Macedonia, Romania, Slovakia, Spain) were in Tetovo, in North Macedonia, on 20th of September 2019 for the implementation of the 3rd Transnational Project Meeting of TESEUS – Training on Entrepreneurial Skills for EU Start-Ups, a project financed under the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Commission, KA2, Strategic Partnerships for Vocational Education and Training.
Eldicare partners were gathered last week in Litchfield (UK) in order to discuss the project progress and the upcoming activities. Staffordshire University hosted a two days meeting on 18 & 19 September 2019.
The kick-off meeting of the INTERREG V-A Greece-Bulgaria project “Mineral Paths: Vacations and Nature with a Blink” took place on September, 13th in Xanthi, Greece.
The project supports four cross border regions to renovate their mineral springs infrastructure and improve touristic promotion in the context of sustainable tourism. The guiding question of this INTERREG project is: How can neighboring regions cooperate beyond their boundaries to promote their natural resources as a common touristic product? This cooperation project aims to increase the individual strength of the different areas and the implementation of their touristic strategies.
