EEO Group S.A organized and hosted in its premises a Focus Group with social professionals about the project Juggling Motherhood and Profession, with acronym JU.M.P, in the 12th of October 2018. JU.M.P is a European project co-funded by the Erasmus+, Key Action Cooperation for innovation and exchange of good practices. The duration of the program is 24 months.

EEO Group S.A participated in the 4th Meeting ,on the 1st of October, of the Erasmus+ Key Action 2 Project  Blend In: Language, Cultural and Social Orientation for Young Refugees which was organized by KMOP in its premises, in Athens. BlendIn is a 24-month project that aims to assist young refugees settle into a new community, country and society and move towards independence, self-sufficiency, active citizenship and participation and at the same time to enhance the role and efficiency of refugee integration workers.

In this project meeting CARDET presented the final version of the Mobile Application and afterwards the partners discussed its dissemination strategy. Other main issues discussed by partners were the final version of Intellectual Output 4, the final dissemination events, the final reporting and the next steps.

BlendIn 4th meeting

In the agenda was also involved a study visit at the Athens Solidarity Center (ASC) of the NGO “Solidarity Now”.

EEO Group S.A participated in the 5th Transnational Meeting of the Erasmus+ Project Compass which was held in Riga, Latvia during the 24th to 28th of September. Compass is an Erasmus+ Project, under the Key Action 2, Cooperation for innovation and the exchange of good practices.


EEO Group S.A supported the Kick-off Meeting of Erasmus+ DataPRO Project which was held in Athens during 26th-27th of September 2018. Under the coordination of Union of Hellenic Chambers of Commerce (UHCC) (https://www.uhc.gr/) , the DataPro Project was hosted in UHCC premises in 26th September, as well as in Metropolitan College (AMC) campus ( https://mitropolitiko.edu.gr/en/ ) in 27th September. 

During the period of 24-28 September 2018, EEO Group S.A organized the Workshop Teachers Train the Trainers which took place at the Lyceum of Thrakomakedones, within the framework of the Erasmus+, Key Action 2 project "Cooperation for Innovation and the Exchange of Good Practices", "EURO4SCIENCE 2.0 PROJECT Spin Off of a Forensic Science Educational Strategy Promoting Scientific Literacy and European Students Citizenship".

The training was carried out by 2 specialized professors from the University of Aveiro, Portugal. 12 teachers participated from the Lyceum of Thrakomakedones and the 3rd Gymnasium of Nea Filadelfeia. During the Workshop  the program and methods of forensic analysis, such as blood analysis and fingerprinting techniques, were presented. The teachers who participated in the Workshop were certified to become accredited users of this toolbox.

The aim of the project is to improve the existing educational toolbox of forensic science, with materials and activities for teachers and students. The project goal is to strengthen the profile of teachers and to enhance their skills in Mathematics and Physics through effective and interactive methods. At the same time, students will have the opportunity to come closer to the science of Criminology while also developing their interest in the science of Physics, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.

Several EU countries (Greece, Poland, Portugal, Bulgaria, the UK) and Turkey participate in the program. The lead partner of the scheme is the University of Aveiro, from Portugal.

In the Workshop EEO Group S.A was represented by its Project Manager Maria Moschou and Consultant Giorgos Koulouris.

Ο EEO Group σας προσκαλεί στην ενημερωτική ημερίδα «Εργαλεία Καθοδήγησης και Κοινωνικής Ένταξης των Μεταναστών/Προσφύγων» η οποία θα πραγματοποιηθεί την Παρασκευή 28 Σεπτεμβρίου 2018 και ώρες 10:00 – 14:00 υπό την αιγίδα του ΚΜΟΠ-Κέντρο Κοινωνικής Δράσης και Καινοτομίας, στον χώρο του Europe Direct – City of Athens (Σεράφειο Κέντρο Αθλητισμού, Πολιτισμού και Καινοτομίας).

Κύριος στόχος της ημερίδας είναι η παρουσίαση καλών πρακτικών, υπηρεσιών καθώς και νέων, καινοτόμων εργαλείων καθοδήγησης και κοινωνικής ένταξης των μεταναστών / προσφύγων, μεταξύ των οποίων είναι οι online εφαρμογές BlendIn και MiGreat!, οι οποίες θα παρουσιαστούν για πρώτη φορά στο ευρύ κοινό.

Η εκδήλωση απευθύνεται σε επαγγελματίες που παρέχουν υπηρεσίες σε μετανάστες, πρόσφυγες και αιτούντες άσυλο, εκπροσώπους Υπουργείων και φορέων, δημοσιογράφους και επωφελούμενους.

EEO Group S.A hosted on 13th-14th of September the 3rd transnational project meeting of “Methodology for ADULT Education in the EU (MADE in EU)”, a 24-month Erasmus+ project under KA2. The international project "Methodology for ADULT Education in the EU" aims to exchange best practices in the development and implementation of adult education programs among five partner organizations working in this field.

In this project meeting the results of the Training Needs Analysis and the next steps for the project implementation were discussed. Also partners analyzed management issues and dissemination activities.

EEO Group S.A participated in the 3rd Joint Staff Training Event in Puerto de Sagunto, during the period 03/09/2018-07/09/2018. This event was organized by FTSI in the framework of the European Project “Survive-Surviving the Storm: Identifying & Linking Internal Capabilities with Business Continuity”, under the “Erasmus Plus KA2 Strategic Partnership for VET- Exchanges of Practices”.

In this training event EEO Group S.A was represented by its Consultant Vasilis Koukis. The issue of the training was the Capacity Building and the skills for the employability with two study visits, the first in Nunsys a Consulting firm in Spain and the second in the industrial zone of the region. 

 

 

EEO Group S.A participated in the Final Conference of Woodual Project which was held in 30 of August in Brussels. Wood sector and Dual Learning for Youth Employment and Skills, its full name, is an Erasmus+ Key Action 2 Project with main objective the Strategic Partnerships for Vocational Education and Training.

The general purpose of WOODual - Wood sector and Dual Learning for Youth Employment and Skills is to elaborate guidelines and new methodologies in order to open the road for a more extensive use of dual learning system in wood and furniture sector.

Woodual final conference

In the Final Conference was conducted a thorough presentation of the project description and results. Moreover, the agenda included a presentation of the students guide and students mobility in Dual Learning. It is worth mentioning also that EPOS presented the European priorities regarding students mobility. The exchange of opinions and a fruitful discussion among the participants and the audience was the results of these presentations during the Final Conference.

Before the Final Conference partners took part in the final meeting hosted by Federlegnoarredo, discussing administrative issues about the project and Intellectual Output 7, regarding the progress, the results and the evaluation of documentation.
