EEO Group has recently been shortlisted for the EuropeAid project “Technical assistance to support direct grant management in the field of employment policy” in Serbia. The overall objective of the project is to increase the effectiveness of the Serbian employment policy in line with labour market needs. The purposes of the project are to: 1) increase the capacity of the National Employment Service (NES) in administering EU funded projects; 2) to increase capacity of the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Policy (MoLESP)-Employment Department to implement activities under IPA funded projects; 3) to strengthen the capacity of NES, LECs and LSGs to develop ALMPs in favour of disadvantaged groups. The project is expected to start in September 2014 and last for 2,5 years.
