NewPost Project aims to provide new Joint VET Curricula for the postal sector by adjusting skills and of the postal employees to the new market trends and IT demands.
During the meeting, the partners had the opportunity to present the current state of play of the Project (project overall assessment), with special focus given in the quantitative and qualitative research in the postal sector in order to identify skills gaps and mismatches.
The partners are now proceeding to identifying the two postal professions that will be the main receivers of the designed curricula.
One of the successful elements of the project meeting was the active participation of all postal sector representatives from Greece with the Hellenic Posts, Romania with Posta Romana and Bulgaria with the Bulgarian Posts that are our linkage with the sector’s actual needs.
Other issues that have been discussed included the dissemination and communication strategy within the next months and how to assess the to-be developed curricula with the assistance of Eurocert under the supervision of the European Umbrella Organization for Posts: PostEurop.
AKMI SA was represented by its Project Manager, Ms. Eleni Damianou and its Financial Manager, Ms. Viktoria Topalidi.
