EEO Group S.A as a leading organization in the field of social development (human resources, education and labour markets) was invited to present the importance of validating the non formal and informal learning. EEO Group S.A was represented by its Development Director Theodore Grassos, who has extensive experience and knowledge on EU funded projects in the related field
Mr. Grassos had a comprehensive presentation,analyzing in depth all the aspects and characteristics of formal, non formal, informal learning and the importance of the validation. His presentation included several issues such as the role of the above-mentioned types of learning, their relevance with the job qualification and with the employability opportunities of the workforce. Moreover, Mr. Grassos emphasized also on EU recommendation regarding formal and non-formal learning and on specific examples of other countries, such as Germany. The participation of the audience was active and the questions regarding this issue contributed to a productive discussion.
