The first training for Microenterprises in rural areas was delivered in Sykea Lakonias, Greece on July the 6th by EEO GROUP SA.

20 farmers and micro entrepreneurs from the rural area Sikea Lakonias were trained on issues related to Marketing and e-commerce as well as on EU wide Tools and Resources for Rural Micro-enterprise development and Financial Management. The training was delivered with the support of the Association of Olive Oil Cooperatives of Epidaurus Limira, Laconia –K.A.S.E.L.L (http://www.kasell.gr/) , which has extensive network in the related field and demonstrates exports to a wide range of countries.

MICRO is a Project co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Commission, Key Action 2, Strategic Partnerships for Vocational and Educational Training and it is implemented by 7 partners from 6 countries (Belgium, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Macedonia and Spain).

The idea behind MICRO is to sustain the growth and competitiveness of rural microenterprises by developing practical training resources and a dedicated Open Educational Resource (OER Platform).

 EEO Group S.A participated in the 3rd Transnational Meeting of JU.M.P Project, which was held in Zagreb on 5th and 6th of July. JU.M.P is a European project co-funded by the Erasmus+, Key Action Cooperation for innovation and exchange of good practices. The duration of the program is 24 months.

JU.M.P tackles the critical issue of women’s love income level and decreased participation in the labour market because of being low skilled, by designing innovative adult education modules. Its aim is to help social professionals working on the employability potentials of vulnerable categories and unskilled/unemployed women with small children.

During the meeting partners have fruitful discussion and exchanging ideas for the Intellectual Output 3 “JU.M.P Training Modules”. The main issue was the 4 booklets developed by JU.M.P partners. Additionally, partners analyzed the administrative and financial issues regarding the project management and financial monitoring. In the 2nd day of the meeting the agenda included the implementation of the training courses, dissemination activities and the next steps for the project.
