AKMI S.A. participated in the "Mu.SA: training of museum professionals for the development of digital skills", which took place on Monday 24 June 2019. The event is part of the activities of the European Erasmus + Project: Mu.SA: Museum Sector Alliance. The objective of the event was to present the training activities organized under the Project, funded by the Erasmus + / Sector Skills Alliance Program and coordinated by the DAISSy research team of the Hellenic Open University.


Akmi Metropolitan College (AMC) was in European University of Cyprus, Nicosia on May 20th and 21st for the 1st Steering Committee Meeting of DataPRO, a Project co-funded by the Erasmus Plus Programme of the European Commission, Key Action 3 Joint Qualifications in Vocational Education and Training.


Within the framework of the European Programme INSERT: Developing the competences of educators / professionals for the promotIoN of Social Entrepreneurship to adults with migRanT background, EEO GROUP S.A. gave the opportunity to 10 professionals working with migrants, to enhance their background and knowledge in social entrepreneurship field.

Partner representatives of the Erasmus+ Project “DataPro” composed by Mr. Grassos, Metropolitan, Mrs. Palaonda, Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and  and Mrs. Daniel, Centre for Risk and Decision Sciences  had the honour to meet on 22nd May 2019  with the Cypriot Commissioner for personal data protection, Mrs. Irene Loizidou Nikolaidou.


On the 21st of May EEO GROUP participated in the 2nd Transnational Project Meeting of the KA2 Erasmus+ TESEUS “Training on Entrepreneurial Skills for EU Start-ups” project held in Pescara, Italy.

TESEUS focuses at the promotion of start-ups and enterprises in the IVET sector through the creation of tools for teachers and mentors to develop their entrepreneurial talent of IVET students and a set of practical training for IVET students to create companies.

The Institute of Vocational Training, AKMI, participated in the 5th Steering Committee of the project LiveSkills, which took place on May 9th & 10th in Brussels, hosted by the British Council in Belgium.


Institute of Vocational Training, AKMI SA ( coordinated the 2nd NewPost Project Meeting that was held on 09-10 May 2019 in Bucharest, Romania.

The meeting was hosted by the Romanian Posts in its premises.

The 2nd Transnational Meeting of CLICK CLEVER: Social Education for Digital Tradives was organized in Paris in 4th April 2019. AKMI S.A participated along with partners from Italy, France, Spain and Belgium.

On the 20th of April we had our second meeting of the Seminar on EU Funding Tools that EEO Group is organizing in cooperation with SAFIA. With 20 students and young professionals we had the opportunity to discuss the Vision and Objectives of Erasmus Plus (E+), covering different Calls under KA1, KA2 and KA3.

MedLit#45+ is a Strategic Partnership project in the field of Adult Education funded with the support of the programme Erasmus+. The project aim is to improve the digital skills of users over 45 in order to increase their competitiveness within the modern labour market.
